Objectives of the Position

  • Based on Defined Account Strategy, execute the Sales & Engineering process and implementation of the business unit strategy at the customer interface 
  • Develop lasting customer relationships, identify business Develop lasting customer relationships, identify business opportunities and maximize value based on collaboration.

 

Main Tasks

General :

  • Take responsibility for the overall sales process, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Promote products at OEMs & TIER-Is, get RFQ and work with internal functions to submit Techno-commercial proposals on time.
  • Support in Project Management of nominated business till SOP and responsibility for Sales activity till EOP.
  • Be accountable and responsible for Quotations, pricing settlements & implementation, Credit Management, Inventory for the assigned accounts.
  • Provide short term and long term sales forecast & supporting efficient planning of products and post sales services like complaint management
  • Work closely with Global Key Account Managers and all internal functions to implement business strategy and meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term business relationships with respective accounts (all decision –makers) to promote brand value.

 

Strategic:

  • Proactively pursue new applications, promoting Cellasto full material portfolio against competing low cost materials by supporting technical exchanges at customer end
  • Collaborate with team for nomination of the business / projects. Take full responsibility for managing nominated projects till SOP.
  • Represent Cellasto in Team Automotive India and actively participate to promote Cellasto applications

 

Operational:

 

Ensure customer support by

  • Assessing customer RFQs inputs, requirements and meeting Development timelines
  • Forecasting and planning to meet customer requirements.
  • Pricing settlements, PO receipts, Price maintenance, AR/OD control, Inventory Managment & margin Management.

 

Ensure Project Management by

  • Co-ordination between customer, internal team(Sales, Quality Control, SCM, Quality Management, Operations) and group companies for all product development activities till SOP
  • Ensuring on time submission of proto samples and meet the customer schedules
  • Submission of quotes and assertively focus on winning business at customers
  • Record all Sales documents as per APQP / IATF16949 and BASF guidelines until and upload on CDB

 

  • Coordination with group companies for Cellasto Project Management activities
  • Regular customer visits and collection of information related to new projects, competitors’ activities etc and support to create strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Mapping, understand the organization map for key OEM’s & Tier I’s in India/Global and prepare decision making matrix and develop strategy accordingly
  • Support Sales & Engineering function activities for customer Audits by documentation preparation, coordination with other functions for successful Audit.

 

GKAM  Support

  • Be part of GKAM/RKAM and support Global teams with India inputs as well get support for India projects
  • Participate and Support in RFI / RFQs analysis, support in pricing to Project Leader
  • Strategy preparation and execution
  • Team work with all GKAM colleagues for successful project management and Start of production

 

Required Competencies:

  • Sales & Marketing skills of automotive products
  • Knowledge of Automotive product development process, documentations & customer requirements
  • Commercial and Financial acumen, Excellent communication skills
  • Customer focus and Value Selling, Entrepreneurial drive and Collaboration with Teams

 

Minimum Education and Qualification Required

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering with First Class
  • Working Experience:  6-10 Years of hands on Sales experience in Automotive TIER-I / TIER-II company
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Sales of Automotive components & Project Management
