Join American Express as a Customer Service Analyst to manage tax document collection and suspense account due diligence in a hybrid Gurugram role.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Engage with American Express Merchants, Client Managers, and Partners via written and occasional verbal communication to obtain USA Tax related documents.
  • Perform due diligence on suspense accounts for UK and Multi-Currency.
  • Analyze and question documents with attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive customer data.
  • File and securely store tax information for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS directives by maintaining accurate tax information from merchants.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners as part of the 6050W & Suspense team, a key EMEA Enterprise initiative.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Demonstrated history of good customer service.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including email and letter writing.
  • Proactive and helpful attitude.
  • Ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets and productivity goals.
  • Good understanding of merchant business and USA Tax preferred but not vital.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Desire to develop professionally with a clear development plan.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong team player.
  • Fluent in English.
